LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Summary (List Format):
- Lead multiple agile squads delivering full-stack application capabilities, including user-facing applications, APIs, microservices, integration services, and platform enhancements.
- Provide technical direction by guiding solution design, reviewing implementation, and ensuring scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable engineering decisions across teams.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architecture, and business stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver business outcomes.
- Drive design and implementation of Java-based microservices, REST APIs, front-end applications (Angular/React), and integration services using modern technologies (Java, Spring Boot, AWS, SQL, CI/CD).
- Create proofs of concept, demos, and prototypes to evaluate and accelerate adoption of emerging technologies and modern engineering patterns.
- Establish and reinforce software engineering standards including scalable design, code quality, automated testing, peer reviews, deployment discipline, security, and operational readiness.
- Ensure solutions meet compliance, auditability, security, resiliency, accessibility, and production support requirements.
- Oversee engineering production support , strengthen incident triage, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement of application/platform reliability.
- Manage, mentor, and develop engineering talent through coaching, performance management, hiring, delegation, and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while seeking opportunities to enhance delivery efficiency and engineering outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align expectations and remove delivery blockers.
- Use data and engineering metrics to improve team performance, delivery predictability, and platform reliability.
- Maintain a focus on production quality, platform resiliency, auditability, and operational excellence throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
