Employee Referral Bonuses + Employee Pet Discount Access exclusive financial benefits to help you save on student loans, mortgages, and personal loans NVA Pet Resort Discount + Pet Insurance Discount Medical, Dental, Vision + HSA/FSA Options Insurance Options: Life and AD&D + Short & Long‑Term Disability + Critical Illness + Accident + Hospital Indemnity 401(k) with employer match Employee Assistance Program Schedule Three 12‑hour shifts per week Overnights Rotating weekends required Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality nursing care to hospitalized and critical care patients across ICU, Emergency, and Specialty services Monitor patient vitals, treatments, and overall condition, reporting changes promptly to attending clinicians Assist with advanced diagnostics, sample collection, medication administration, and dosage calculations Support care for postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, oncology patients, urgent care cases, and specialty referrals Triage critical patients and assist with stabilization and ongoing monitoring Provide compassionate client communication, including patient updates, education, and discharge instructions Collaborate closely with Emergency clinicians, specialists, and fellow technicians to deliver exceptional patient care Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to efficient daily hospital workflow Qualifications 3+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred; ICU, Emergency, or Critical Care experience strongly preferred CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred Strong technical nursing skills with confidence managing hospitalized and critical patients Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced emergency and specialty environment Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members Positive, collaborative attitude with a commitment to patient care and hospital culture Desire to continue learning, growing clinical skills, and contributing to a supportive team environment Fluent English speaking and reading skills required Did you know?
