This commitment is the foundation of our contributions to projects that are sustainable, community-driven, and highly successful for investors.With a legacy of excellence and a future-focused approach, KFM Engineering & Design continues to shape the landscape of Texas and beyond—one project at a time.Essential ResponsibilitiesDesign civil engineering projects including grading, drainage, utility, and roadway plansPrepare construction documents and technical reports in accordance with applicable standards and client requirementsCollaborate with project managers, architects, surveyors, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and timely deliveryAssist in the preparation and submittal of permitting documentationUse Civil 3D to create alignments, surfaces, corridors, and profiles for design layoutsCoordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies as neededPerform engineering calculations and quantity takeoffsContribute to the QA/QC process and provide feedback on design improvementsParticipate in field investigations and site visitsQualifications3 – 5 years of civil engineering experience, ideally in land development or infrastructure projectsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldPE licenseProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is requiredSolid understanding of civil design principles including grading, stormwater management, and utility layoutStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environmentFamiliarity with permitting processes and local agency requirements is a plusMicrosoft 365 proficiencyPreferred SkillsExperience coordinating with public agencies and municipalitiesKnowledge of hydrology/hydraulics, erosion control, and drainage designExperience with GIS tools and other engineering software
