Job Description Summary: The Senior Director, People & Culture serves as the strategic HR partner to The McDonald's Division (TMD) and selected Customer & Commercial teams. These organizations are responsible for accelerating customer growth, strengthening strategic partnerships, and driving commercial performance across global markets.This leader will shape and execute people, talent, and organization strategies that enable business growth and organizational effectiveness. Working closely with senior leaders, they will drive talent outcomes, organizational transformation, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and culture initiatives within a complex, highly matrixed environment.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business PartnershipServe as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating business priorities into talent, leadership, and workforce strategies.Align organizational capability, talent, and workforce planning with growth objectives and commercial priorities.Provide coaching and consultation on organizational effectiveness, leadership, culture, and transformation.Organization Effectiveness & TransformationLead workforce planning, organization design, and operating model initiatives that improve agility, scalability, and performance.Drive organizational transformation, including structural, capability, and ways-of-working changes.Assess organizational health and implement solutions that enhance engagement and execution.Talent & Leadership DevelopmentLead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and capability-building strategies.Identify future-critical capabilities and develop plans to strengthen leadership and organizational readiness.Partner with Talent Acquisition and business leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent.Culture, Change & Employee ExperienceCoach leaders through growth and transformation while fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture.Lead initiatives that strengthen engagement, team effectiveness, leadership alignment, and the associate experience.Champion accountability, development, and continuous improvement.Employee Relations & Enterprise LeadershipPartner with leaders, Employee Relations, and Legal to ensure fair, consistent, and compliant people practices.Lead or support enterprise People & Culture initiatives and collaborate across the HR function to drive business outcomes.QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or a related field required.Advanced degree preferred.Experience12+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner leadership supporting senior executives.Experience supporting commercial, customer-facing, marketing, sales, supply chain, digital, or related business functions.Proven ability to translate business strategy into talent and organization solutions that drive results.Strong experience in organizational design, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, leadership development, and change management.Experience supporting global teams within highly matrixed organizations.Consumer packaged goods, retail, restaurant, hospitality, beverage, or related industry experience preferred.Skills & CapabilitiesStrong business acumen and understanding of commercial drivers.Exceptional consulting, coaching, and executive influencing skills.Ability to lead through ambiguity, complexity, and change.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.Excellent judgment, agility, and executive presence.What We'll Do For YouProvide a seat at the table with senior leaders across The McDonald's Division and Customer & Commercial organizations.Empower you to shape talent, culture, and organizational strategies that drive business growth.Offer opportunities to lead high-impact work, solve complex challenges, and expand your enterprise influence.Support your growth while helping you leave a lasting impact on our people, leaders, and business.All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form (Form I-9) upon hire.Skills:InfluencingPay Range:United States of America: 170,000 USD - 193,000 USDBase pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
