Sterile Processing Tech - Days

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 per hour, determined by expertise and experience. Position Highlights Bonus of $2,000 for 2 or more years of experience in Sterile Processing Location Arlington Heights, IL Hours 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., rotating weekends and holidays (40 hours per week) Responsibilities Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment. Execute established procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart set-up. Ensure quality product for patient care by following established procedures to ensure decontamination completion. Place sterile items in appropriate distribution areas, accurately labeling by department. Qualifications GED or High School Equivalent required. Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) strongly preferred.
