Interventional Radiology Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced imaging equipment for interventional radiology procedures with proficiency and attention to detail.
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety and optimal imaging results throughout each procedure.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to achieve the highest quality diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain rigorous standards for equipment calibration, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Support a positive patient experience by communicating clearly, compassionately, and professionally.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification as an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Radiologic Technologist required.
• Prior experience in IR technology or radiology roles preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of imaging protocols, contrast media, and interventional supplies.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain calm in fast-paced or emergent situations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development in imaging technology.
