Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a positive impact on students’ learning experiences by supporting classrooms as a paraprofessional. In this contract position, you’ll work alongside educators to help foster a nurturing and effective environment for learners. Collaborate with teachers, assist with classroom management, and help ensure that every student receives the attention and care they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Understanding of classroom operations and procedures
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school setting
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff
- Patience, adaptability, and a commitment to student growth
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or credentials are a plus
- Capable of following instructions and assisting with individualized student support plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction by organizing materials and working with small groups or individual students
- Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment
- Assist with implementing lesson plans, activities, and educational interventions
- Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance for students who need extra guidance
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the teaching staff
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation and learning
