This position is responsible for managing a comprehensive campus visitation program focusing on the recruitment goals of CWU while working with prospective students, parents, administrators, faculty, and staff. The position plans and executes opportunities to serve individuals who are interested in or need assistance discovering all that Central Washington University (CWU) and the region have to offer.At least 4 years of progressively responsible experience in working with and communicating with various levels of internal and external constituents in visitation programs, or a related field and/or a bachelor's degree in a related field. Proven success with event planning, both large and small. Experience in presenting to small and larger groups in various settings. Experience leading teams to collaborate effectively and deliver results. Demonstrated experience supervising, hiring, training, and developing staff and student employees. Strong speaking, writing, and interpersonal communication skills. Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, presentation software, video conferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams), emailing, web and social media skills.Salary: This position is based on the range 45 of the Washington State Classification Listing, which has a minimum annual salary of $49,296 and maximum annual salary of $66,072. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Schedule/Appointment: Varies / Evening and weekend hours required Working Conditions: Campus tours are offered outside in all weather conditions e.g., heat, rain, ice, and snow. Planning and supervision are usually performed in an indoor office setting with frequent in-person interactions. It is essential to be able to remain at a desk/computer workstation for prolonged periods of time, walk long distances in all weather, perform extensive data entry and other computer-related tasks, and create/maintain filing systems for departmental records.
