Description Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing established assessments and observational methods. Create customized treatment plans addressing both short-term objectives and long-term needs related to communication, cognition, or swallowing. Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions focused on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing deficits. Engage in teamwork with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to implement coordinated care strategies. Provide education to both patients and families to support ongoing progress outside of therapy sessions. Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring seamless continuity of care through every stage of treatment. Maintain precise documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Commit to staying abreast of the latest developments in the field through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
