Located on the main campus of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC), Laurelwood (54 beds) provides a broad range of services for adolescents and adults experiencing mental health or substance abuse problems. Laurelwood offers a variety of treatment options including: detoxification, inpatient treatment, day partial treatment, intensive outpatient treatment and aftercare support.

1. Work with 20 Psychiatrists, 1 Psychologist, 4 PMHNPs
2. General Psychiatry treating patients 18 years old and older.
3. 8am-5pm Monday Friday
4. Location: Gainesville -Primary Outpatient offices next to Laurelwood with occasional Emergency Department/ Consult Liaison and Inpatient coverage at Laurelwood.
5. TMS recently started and ECT is coming soon
6. Large Referral Network Including Primary Care and Other Specialists
7. Level I Trauma Center
8. EMR Platform - EPIC
9. NGHS currently has GME programs in IM, FM, GS, EM and PSY, plus Cardiology, Critical Care and Palliative Fellowships
