Security Officer - Armed

Citadel Security USA is seeking a dependable Armed Mobile Patrol Officer to provide overnight patrol support for client properties in the Grand Junction area. This part-time position is designed to assist the patrol team with weekend coverage and requires a professional individual who can work independently, maintain strong situation awareness, and uphold security standards across multiple locations.

Employment Type: Part-Time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday to Sunday | 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled vehicle patrols at assigned client properties
• Perform routine inspections of buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations
• Monitor properties for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, or security concerns
• Help maintain a safe and secure environment through proactive patrol presence
• Investigate and document unusual activity, safety hazards, or property damage
• Respond to incidents in accordance with company procedures and post instructions
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation
• Maintain communication with supervisors and dispatch personnel throughout the shift
• Operate patrol vehicles safely while complying with company policies and traffic regulations
• Support client security objectives through professional and consistent patrol services

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to meet Colorado armed security qualification requirements
• Ability to legally carry and maintain required armed credentials in accordance with state regulations
• Strong observation and decision-making skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional communication and report-writing abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in armed security, patrol operations, military, or law enforcement environments
• Experience conducting vehicle patrols across multiple locations
• Familiarity with incident reporting and security documentation
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment under pressure

Work Environment

• Overnight mobile patrol assignment covering multiple client locations
• Combination of vehicle patrol and on-foot property inspections
• Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Independent work environment requiring attention to detail and situational awareness
