Role Description The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Baltimore, MD, responsible for driving growth within an assigned geographic territory. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing a pipeline of opportunities, and meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets for weighing, automation, precision, and crane and hoist solutions. Day-to-day activities include visiting customer sites, conducting needs assessments, preparing proposals and quotes, delivering product and solution presentations, and following up on leads. The Territory Sales Manager collaborates closely with internal technical, service, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery and strong customer satisfaction. This role also includes maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasting sales, participating in training and industry events, and representing Carlton Industrial Solutions in a professional manner aligned with the company’s core values.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build relationships, understand client needs, and provide responsive, solution-oriented support.
• Proven Sales and Sales Management experience, including territory development, pipeline management, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with Training, including the ability to educate customers and team members on products, systems, and best practices.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, or technical sales; familiarity with weighing systems, automation, precision equipment, or crane and hoist solutions is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and travel within the assigned territory as needed.
• Proficiency with CRM tools, basic business software (e.g., Microsoft Office), and data-driven sales reporting.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, integrity, and excellence in all customer and team interactions.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
