About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Rome, New York, 13440!

Specialty: Med Surg / Step-Down Unit
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Start Date: July 6th
Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 6:1
Local and Traveler Candidates Accepted
Provide direct patient care to step-down patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in condition
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Document patient care accurately using EMR systems

Requirements

Active RN License required
Minimum 1–2 years of recent Step-Down/Telemetry experience
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
NIHSS Certification required
Experience with Paragon EMR system
Experience with Pyxis medication system
Strong telemetry and progressive care experience preferred
