Medical Assembly Technician

As a Medical Assembly Technician , you’ll work in a clean, organized environment using microscopes and specialized tools to assemble and inspect extremely small, precision components.

What You’ll Do

• Work in a regulated clean room environment , following all safety and quality standards
• Use a microscope to assemble and inspect very small, precision medical components
• Perform hands-on assembly including fine wire and coil work with hair-thin materials
• Count, sort, and inspect parts to ensure they meet strict quality specifications
• Follow detailed work instructions and production orders from start to finish
• Rotate between workstations as you gain certifications and expand your skillset
• Operate production equipment for manual feeding and part handling
• Measure and inspect components using precision tools
• Support packaging and labeling of finished medical products
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation in alignment with clean room standards
• Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth production

What You Bring

• 3+ months of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production (or strong, reliable work history)
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions in English
• Strong hand dexterity and fine motor skills
• Comfort working with small parts and microscopes
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work safely around production equipment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Nice to Have:

• Clean room, medical, or electronics assembly experience
• Experience with inspection, packaging, or small-part manufacturing
• Exposure to machine operation (feeding/catching parts)

Work Environment

• 1st shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Bright, clean, and highly organized medical manufacturing facility
• Combination of standing and seated workstations
• Work with microscopes and precision tools on very small components
• Climate-controlled clean room environment focused on quality and safety

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
