SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Senior Accountant

Kelly Services is partnering with a well-established global manufacturing company to hire a Senior Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning key accounting processes from month-end close through financial reporting.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare journal entries, financial reports, and account analyses
• Manage fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure tracking
• Support customer rebate and promotional program accounting
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash management activities
• Assist with inventory and cost accounting processes
• Review and support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
• Review work prepared by accounting staff and provide guidance when needed
• Support internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 57+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
• Manufacturing and/or cost accounting experience preferred
• Experience with Power BI is a plus
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience reviewing or supervising accounting staff is preferred
• Office products or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
• Ability to travel up to 10%
