About US: We are a dynamic, professional business and technology consulting services firm specializing in IT consulting, staffing, workforce optimization, and domestic outsourcing solutions. We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our busy Accounting department. Responsibilities include: Accounting: Finalize accounting books with full responsibility of accounts payable, receivables, banking, monthly PNL reporting for different divisions and business segments. Preparation, review and analysis of GL and monthly financial statements. Provide Financial reports and interpret financial information to Management. Payroll: Review and process Bi-weekly payroll and subcontractor/vendor payables. Budgeting & forecasting: Prepare annual budgets for Business segments and consolidate corporate budget. Prepare projected financial and cash flow statements, review monthly sales projections and update cash forecasts. Analysis & Reporting: Analyze monthly operating results against budget, customer profitability, fixed v/s variable cost analysis. Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans. Oversee operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework. Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken. Staff training and process review for Finance teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

3-5 years of above relevant experience with QuickBooks Online. Strong computer skills; proficiency with Word and Excel skills. Thoroughness, a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Positive attitude, team-player; works well on their own as well as within team environment. Ability to communicate well, verbally and via correspondence. Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and understanding of GAAP. Strong preference for candidate with experience working in a high transaction service organization with exposure to client billing. Excellent references and the ability to receive a satisfactory background check. Only local candidates and required to work from office.
