Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for a long-term locum tenens opportunity in Southaven, Mississippi , beginning October 1, 2026 .

This is a substantial 6+ month coverage need with 10–20 shifts available each month across day, swing, and night schedules. Physicians join a well-supported Emergency Department just minutes from Memphis, with 65,000+ annual visits, 55 ED beds, Epic EMR, and extensive physician and APC coverage.

Practice Environment

Physicians practice in a busy Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department with overlapping physician and APC coverage throughout the day and overnight.

The department supports a broad Emergency Medicine scope, including:

• Adult and pediatric emergencies
• Trauma evaluation and stabilization
• Cardiac and neurologic emergencies
• Critical illness and resuscitation
• Medical and surgical emergencies
• Orthopedic injuries
• Emergency procedures
• Consultation, disposition, and transfer

Physicians are not responsible for admitting orders .

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO
• ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified
• Emergency Medicine residency trained
• Active Mississippi medical license
• DEA registration
• ACLS
• PALS and ATLS*

*PALS and ATLS may be waived for ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified physicians per current client requirements.
