Job Title Physician – Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Department The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Position Summary The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks a spinal cord injury medicine physician for an inpatient position. The physician will manage functional sequelae after spinal cord injury, including neurogenic bowel and bladder care, spasticity management with chemodenervation and baclofen pumps, and DME/wheelchair prescription. Interest in electrodiagnostic medicine is a plus. Outpatient services are provided at the West Campus Martha Morehouse Outpatient Care Center. Responsibilities Provide licensed medical care inclusive of diagnosis, treatment, case management, and clinical research. Manage complex and unpredictable patient situations, and maintain competency in clinical and surgical skills as required. Follow the established Medical Center policies, procedures, protocols, and key results areas. Qualifications MD or DO Successful completion of an accredited PM&R Residency Program Successful completion of an accredited Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R and Spinal Cord Injury Medicine Eligible for an Ohio Medical License Required Licenses & Credentials Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board certified or board eligible in required specialization State of Ohio and DEA licensure Completion of an accredited residency in specialty and a fellowship training program in sub‑specialty (where applicable) Location & Shift Twelfth Ave, 395 W (0356) – Columbus, Ohio Position Type: Regular Shift: First Shift Application Process Submit your application electronically via Workday.
