Maintenance Tech

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Hours: 40 + hours a week (weekdays and weekends) SUMMARY The Maintenance Tech reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and takes care of the Company's properties/activities as assigned. DUTIES Overall supervision of anything maintenance related, Examples: Repair drywall, texture, and paint. Hang doors and perform basic trim work/carpentry. Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs. Perform landscaping (to include mowing, trimming, etc.). Frame simple structures. Perform HVAC maintenance (a plus, but not required). Other duties as requested by supervisor. REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years of maintenance supervisory related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess good mathematical skills. Must be able to assess a situation and come up with a solution under the guidance of the Supervisor. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the strength and flexibility to perform the above mentioned duties and be able to lift 75 lbs Ability to multi-task and prioritize under the guidance of the Supervisor. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
