Litigation Associate – Sacramento, CA
Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a 3rd–6th Year Litigation Associate to join its Sacramento office.
Key Responsibilities- Handle complex litigation in state and federal courts
- Draft and argue motions, including dismissal, summary judgment, and class certification
- Prepare and respond to writs and appeals
- Take and defend depositions
- Assist with trial preparation and case strategy
- Manage cases and mentor junior associates
- Analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions
- 3–6 years of complex litigation experience
- Proven experience arguing motions and handling depositions
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and strategic skills
- Trial preparation and case management experience
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior attorneys
- Law Review experience preferred
- Strong academic credentials from a top law school
- California Bar admission required
