Overview Full-Time Nanny in Williamsburg, Brooklyn Location : Williamsburg, Brooklyn Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 8:00am – 5:00pm and Fridays from 8:00am – 12:00pm Child’s age: Currently 2.5 months; will be approximately 6 months at the start date. Ideal start date: Aug/Sept 2025 Ideal Candidate: Genuinely passionate about working with children and supporting their cognitive, physical, and emotional development Engaging, patient, calm, trustworthy, and honest An excellent communicator and team player Reliable and punctual Encourages creativity, imagination, and a love of learning Easygoing yet professional demeanor Prioritizes the child’s safety and well-being Seeking a long-term position and meaningful relationship with a family Spanish-speaking is a strong plus Responsibilities Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene Bottle feedings, keeping the bottles and other equipment clean and sterilized Taking the child to activities and playdates Managing the child’s sleeping and eating schedules Manage the child’s laundry Reading to the child, tummy time, indoor and outdoor play Introducing solids and preparing meals for the child Keeping the child’s room and the shared spaces in the home clean and tidy Requirements 5+ years of nanny experience with a similar age group Legally authorized to work in the U.S 2–3 strong, relevant references Fully Vaccinated CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to get it renewed) Spanish-speaking is a strong plus. Additional pluses (but not requirements) are familiarity with local infant activities, understanding of childhood nutrition, and knowledge of early childhood education or the Montessori method. Compensation Compensation: $35+ per hour with overtime pay after 40 hours worked per week.
