What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll have the opportunity to work across various departments and become a key part of keeping products moving efficiently through the distribution center.

Your Daily Responsibilities May Include:

Case Picking

Shipping & Receiving

Returns Processing

Order Processing

Loading & Unloading

Inventory Replenishment

Trailer Receiving

Warehouse Support Functions

Material Handling & Warehouse Operations

You'll help support warehouse operations by moving inventory and assisting with material flow throughout the facility.

Responsibilities Include:

✅ Operating material handling equipment (MHE) to move inventory

✅ Manual receiving of trailers at distribution center locations

✅ Using manual and/or electric pallet jacks

✅ Building pallets with large products requiring physical effort

✅ Working on fast-paced sorting lines

✅ Maintaining inventory flow within the warehouse

✅ Following established safety standards and procedures

✅ Supporting general warehouse operations wherever needed

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position perfect for candidates who enjoy staying busy and working on their feet.

Candidates Must Be Comfortable With:

✔ Lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs

✔ Standing for extended periods, including more than 60 minutes at a time

✔ Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, and repetitive movements

✔ Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

✔ Building and moving heavy pallets

✔ Performing physically demanding warehouse tasks throughout the shift

✔ Previous warehouse experience

✔ Experience working in a distribution center or warehouse environment

✔ Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), if required

✔ Ability to perform physically demanding work

✔ Good reading, writing, and communication skills

✔ Strong work ethic and reliability

Education

High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
