Full-Time MRI Technologist

Responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with physicians and radiologists to deliver precise diagnostic imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnoses.
• Assist patients in preparing for MRI exams, explaining the procedure and addressing concerns.
• Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and comfort.
• Operate MRI equipment, maintaining proper function and troubleshooting as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of MRI exams.
• Adhere to safety standards, infection control procedures, and radiation safety protocols.
• Position patients properly for optimal image capture.
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to discuss imaging results as needed.
• Provide excellent patient care, ensuring a positive experience and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Certification in MRI through ARRT-MRI.
• State licensure in Arizona as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and equipment operation.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
