Tufting Machine Operator

work hours: 7 PM - 7 AM
education: High School Responsibilities Tufting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and running large-scale industrial sewing machines that "tuft" synthetic yarn into a primary backing to create artificial turf. This is a fast-paced role that requires a sharp eye for detail and mechanical aptitude. Hours are M-F 7p-7a. You will train on first shift for 2-3 weeks. Pay is $17-$18 an hour. 2 years of tufting expereince required. The essential functions of this role include:

- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 50lbs
- standing for 12 hours at one time
- working weekends
