Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable, high-energy Full-Time Line Cook with strong foundational kitchen skills to join our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling fresh seafood, working a hot line during heavy lunch and dinner rushes, and maintaining strict quality standards. We are looking for a professional who is looking for steady, full-time hours and wants to be a key part of our kitchen family.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, stock, and organize your station with all necessary prep items ahead of lunch and dinner services.
• Prepare and cook menu items (including fresh Gulf seafood, house specials, sandwiches, and salads) to order, strictly adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a fast, efficient pace to keep ticket times low during busy weekend rushes and peak season.
• Practice top-tier food safety and sanitation habits, including temperature logs, labeling, and cross-contamination prevention.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure high quality and order accuracy.
• Clean down, sanitize, and restock stations at the end of every shift, contributing to overall kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 3 years of line cook experience in a high-volume, casual or upscale-casual restaurant preferred.
• Skills: Strong proficiency with grills, fryers, and sauté stations; experience working with fresh fish and seafood is highly valued.
• Pace: Ability to stay calm, organized, and focused under pressure during heavy rushes.
• Schedule: Full-time availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays. Reliability and punctuality are non-negotiable.
• Certifications: Valid Florida Food Handler certificate (or ability to obtain one quickly).
• Physical: Ability to stand for long periods, work efficiently in a hot kitchen environment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
