Production Supervisor

Job Title: Permanent Production Supervisor Experience: Senior Level Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year We are currently seeking a Permanent Production Supervisor with a strong background in steel manufacturing. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production operations and ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires an individual who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team to ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently. Planning and organizing production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements. Ensuring that production is cost‑effective and that products are produced on time and are of good quality. Maintaining strict adherence to safety rules and regulations to create a safe and healthy work environment. Keeping an accurate record of the production process, analyzing production data, and writing production reports. Troubleshooting any problems that could cause delays in the production process. Implementing and enforcing quality control and tracking programs to meet production objectives and minimize downtime. Training, developing, and motivating employees to meet production goals while maintaining a high level of employee morale and professionalism. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the engineering industry, specifically in steel manufacturing. Proven experience in managing and directing a production team. Excellent knowledge of production machinery, processes, and quality control techniques. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Exceptional skills in planning and organizing production schedules. Proficiency in maintaining and analyzing production records. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage a team. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions quickly. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
