Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government office reception area by following site-specific procedures and access protocols. Monitor entry activity, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and appointments as required, and issue visitor credentials in accordance with established procedures. Answer and route incoming calls, provide general information, and maintain a professional, courteous front-desk presence. Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities when appropriate. Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and other required records while helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card/License. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
