Sr. HR Business Partner

Location: Itasca, IL
Job Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time
Compensation: Up to $75,000+ based on experience

We are seeking a hands-on SR. HR Business Partner to support day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will work closely with employees and managers across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and policy interpretation
• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting and serve as the liaison with staffing partners
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation
• Partner with managers and employees on employee relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
• Support HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Assist with performance management and coach managers on HR processes
• Coordinate training and employee development activities
• Prepare HR documentation, reports, offer letters, and other employee-related paperwork
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
• Support benefits administration and other HR initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar role
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and performance management
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and/or payroll systems
• Manufacturing or industrial HR experience preferred
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
