Compensation

  • Typical range: $48,000-$245,000+ per year

Qualifications

  • Outgoing, proactive personality with strong goal‑driven motivation
  • Knowledge of current agricultural practices
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs and sit, stand, or squat for extended periods
  • Ability to safely operate, hook up, secure, and transport equipment
  • Willingness and ability to mentor less‑experienced candidates
  • Strong communication skills with ability to build customer relationships
  • Proficiency with computerized tools and reports
  • Strong math skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends

Preferred Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or an agriculture‑related field
  • 3+ years of account management or direct sales experience in ag equipment or a related field

Average Day as a Production Ag Account Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Support customers in making informed decisions with tailored ag‑equipment solutions
  • Leverage your knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment to guide purchases
  • Appraise trade‑ins and lead equipment demonstrations
  • Oversee product delivery and operator training
  • Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships
  • Research industry trends and monitor competitors
  • Stay current on incentive programs and financing options
  • Develop innovative solutions that streamline processes and cultivate sales growth
