Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, valid AZ Department of Education teaching certification in Special Education
• Active fingerprint clearance card
• Experience with behavioral, adaptive, and resource-based special education programs is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, parents, and students
• Commitment to nurturing inclusive and supportive classroom culture
• Flexibility and creativity in lesson planning for diverse learners

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Deliver instruction in accordance with each program’s focus—behavior, resource, or adaptive
• Foster positive classroom management and adaptive learning strategies
• Monitor student progress and modify teaching approaches as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff
• Participate in ongoing professional development and district trainings
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
