Horticulture Crew Member

Job Overview The Crew Member is responsible for maintaining a variety of landscape structures that range from typical grassy areas like lawns or gardens to more granular items such as houseplants. Responsibilities Assisting with the installation and care of woody, perennial, and annual plant material Performing installation and maintenance tasks such as mulching, planting, grading, etc. Ensuring job sites and/or maintenance properties are kept clean and tidy and free of plant debris Removing weeds and dead plants as needed to preserve the health and natural beauty of the plants Trimming overgrown limbs, hedges and leaves to ensure an appealing look to the area Job Requirements At least 1 year of proven work experience as a Landscaper or similar job Ability to operate maintenance equipment including lawnmowers, leaf blowers and hedge trimmers Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to oversee several projects at a time High school diploma or equivalent qualification Perks 401(k) plan with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance FSA/HSA Long‑Term Disability and Life Insurance Paid time Off Tuition Reimbursement (after one year of service) Position Range: $20–$24 per hour.
