Senior Restaurant Manager

Job Summary Senior Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing and executing all front‑of‑house functions according to P.F. Chang’s established procedures and in accordance with the direction of the Operating Partner. The role is a lead front‑of‑house management position overseeing hospitality team members and ensuring service quality, safety, and business objectives are met. Job Responsibilities Supervises and facilitates training of all hospitality team members. Articulates instructions clearly to team members, other management, and guests. Develops schedules for all hospitality staff. Holds pre‑shift meetings to provide daily focus and continuous direction. Ensures dress code standards and front‑of‑house appearance are maintained. Accounts for state safety and sanitation guidelines. Supports inventory execution and manages controllable expenses for the area. Assigns and verifies completion of side work. Manages check‑outs for all hospitality staff. Maintains a clean and safe environment for team members and guests. Handles guest service issues professionally and with compassion. Lives and promotes the company’s Message, inspiring others to do the same. Stands and walks eight‑ten hours per shift; reaches, bends, balances, and transports weights up to 30lb (up to 50lb as needed). Operates kitchen equipment—including a wok, mixer, slicer, buffalo chopper—and handles knives safely. Job Requirements 3+ years of experience in restaurant management. Valid driver’s license for occasional duties such as shift coverage, meeting liquor license requirements, delivering orders, and traveling between locations. Experience working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Experience mentoring and training hourly team members. Strong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction. Preferences Experience in a casual restaurant or upscale dining environment. Experience in a corporate restaurant chain with established processes and systems. Understanding of inventory management, cost of goods, and overall financial control.
