We are seeking a dedicated Prep Chef to join our culinary team! In this role, you will be the heart of our kitchen, transforming fresh ingredients into beautifully crafted dishes that delight our guests. Your energy, attention to detail, and culinary expertise will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Follow proper food handling procedures, including storage, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service deadlines without compromising quality.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment.
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques across different cuisines.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to ensure compliance at all times.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a busy kitchen environment.
