Sr. HR Generalist 700 W Court St, Urbana, OH 43078, USA Full-time, onsite Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment The role… The Senior HR Generalist serves as a strategic and operational partner to site leadership and employees, supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources functions. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture by providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, compliance, talent development, recruitment, and HR operations. The Senior HR Generalist also leads HR initiatives, mentors HR team members, and partners with leaders to support business objectives while ensuring legal compliance and an exceptional employee experience. How You’ll Make An Impact… Partner with leaders and employees to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and workplace issues while fostering a positive and engaged culture. Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices by administering policies, managing employee relations matters, and supporting leave administration. Support talent management initiatives through recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and workforce planning. Leverage HR systems and workforce data to maintain accurate records, identify trends, improve processes, and support informed business decisions. Lead and contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring HR team members and partnering with leadership to achieve organizational goals. What Do You Bring… Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and HR project leadership; manufacturing or industrial experience preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification required; SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and leave administration, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, Workday, SAP) and the ability to manage multiple priorities while building effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
