An experienced Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to support students in PreK through 4th grade during a 12-week maternity leave. This position is onsite and offers the chance to work closely with school staff to enrich students’ communication skills and help them achieve their potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current state license for Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid educator certification for working in schools
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
• Organized, proactive, and committed to student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in PreK-4th grade
• Conduct evaluations and reassessments, interpreting results for IEP teams and families
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Consult with teachers and staff regarding strategies to support students’ needs
• Participate in meetings and contribute valuable input for educational planning
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students

This full-time contract position offers the fulfillment of supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students in an elementary school setting. The assignment runs for 12 weeks, with possible changes in duration, providing excellent experience and networking opportunities in a supportive school community.
