Insurance Defense Attorney A growing litigation firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Bellevue office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys litigation, values autonomy, and wants to work on a diverse caseload while continuing to develop professionally. The firm handles a broad range of defense matters and provides attorneys with meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to take an active role in case strategy and litigation management. Responsibilities Manage insurance defense matters from inception through resolution Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and case evaluations Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses Take and defend depositions Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances Communicate directly with clients, carriers, experts, and opposing counsel Develop litigation strategies and manage case deadlines Qualifications Active Washington Bar license 3+ years of litigation experience Insurance defense experience preferred Experience handling depositions and court appearances Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage files independently while working collaboratively with a team Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer contribution Paid time off and paid holidays CLE and professional development support Long-term growth opportunities Why Consider This Opportunity?
