Insurance Coverage & General Liability Associate Attorney

Overview The Seattle, WA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Insurance Coverage and General Liability Practice. Lewis Brisbois seeks a talented and motivated attorney with three (3) to seven (7) years of experience to join our General Liability Practice, focusing on insurance coverage and liability defense. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants sophisticated work, meaningful responsibility, and the support of a nationally recognized litigation platform. Responsibilities Analyze insurance coverage issues and draft thoughtful, well‑reasoned coverage opinions involving first‑party property and general liability policies. Manage all phases of litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, and depositions. Provide exposure to arbitrations and trial work (preferred, but not required). Qualifications Three to seven years of experience in a law firm setting. Experience analyzing insurance coverage issues and drafting coverage opinions. Experience across all phases of litigation (case management, motion practice, discovery, depositions). Strong legal research, writing, and analytical ability. Washington State Bar admission is required. Prior insurance law experience is preferred, but attorneys with exceptional core legal skills are also considered. Benefits Competitive compensation.
