Job Details Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Nursing Location: Midlothian, VA 23114 Start Date: 8/31/2026 Duration: 16 weeks Schedule: 12-hour night shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130-$2,250 Job Requirements Current Virginia RN license or compact state eligibility Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required Recent Labor & Delivery, OB, ED, or critical care experience preferred Experience with antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and cesarean section care preferred BLS required; ACLS may be accepted in lieu of BLS NRP required or obtainable within 3 months of hire, as applicable C-EFM certification preferred Experience with Epic and perinatal systems preferred Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity night shift environment Responsibilities Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetrical patients Monitor maternal and fetal status, including fetal heart patterns and labor progression Provide triage, stabilization, education, and discharge support Assist with cesarean sections and circulate in the operating room as needed Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient-centered care Administer medications, document accurately, and evaluate patient responses Support mothers and families with compassionate coaching throughout the birth experience Respond quickly and confidently to urgent maternal and neonatal needs Apply now to explore this Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse travel assignment in Midlothian, Virginia, and join a dedicated healthcare team today.
