Responsibilities

• Build and operate low-latency, event-driven microservices end to end from APIs through storage.
• Design for resilience, multi-region readiness, data partitioning, statelessness, and reduced blast radius.
• Develop shared libraries, templates, runbooks, CI/CD patterns, GitOps workflows, progressive delivery, and automated rollback policies.
• Instrument services with metrics, logs, and distributed tracing; define and track SLIs and SLOs.
• Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, failure-tested runbooks, and postmortems.
• Collaborate with Product, SRE, Security, and Architecture on designs, reviews, tradeoffs, and technical documentation.
• Improve service security through OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, service-to-service authorization, secrets management, and supply-chain integrity.

• Proficiency in Go and solid software engineering fundamentals, including testing, design, and code quality.
• Experience with Kubernetes, preferably EKS, Docker, AWS, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, autoscaling, and rollout patterns.
