Medical Scheduler - Prior Authorizations Specialist $20 - $27/Hr DOE

We are a large privately held healthcare organization leading the way in providing high-quality, cost-effective healthcare. We have multiple locations in Utah and are a highly recognized Healthcare group, providing excellent benefits and opportunity.

We are seeking a Medical Scheduler Insurance Prior Authorizations Specialist to join our great team and awesome management. JOB DETAILS:

· Direct hire position, not temporary or contract

· $20.00-$27.00/Hr DOE

· Competitive wages and regular increases

· Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm - No nights or weekends!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

All Medical Office and Medical Scheduler Responsibilities
Prior Authorizations
Greet and direct all medical patients
Obtain accurate demographic information, co-payments and balance payments.
Maintain and balance daily payment information.
Maintain appearance and cleanliness of waiting area
Make appointment reminder calls for all scheduled patients.
Schedule appointments via telephone and in person

QUALIFICATIONS:

1 year of medical receptionist, medical office or any general receptionist experience preferred.
Excellent Computer skills
Must have professional communication and demeanor
Must pass 7-year criminal background check and pass drug screen
