Environment, Health and Safety Manager

Seeking EHS Manager for opportunity with manufacturing company in St. Louis, MO. This plant is a large plant with over 300 employees. Up to $120K plus bonus. We are seeking a hands-on Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manage r to support safety, compliance, and environmental programs within a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be a partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure safe work practices, reduce risk, and strengthen safety culture across the facility .This is a position where you can lead safety initiatives, influence culture, and make a real impac t What You’ll Do Safety & Regulatory Compliance Support and maintain the Pretium Packaging EHS program in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulation Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across manufacturing operation Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root cause and implement corrective action Maintain OSHA logs, safety documentation, and compliance record Report current/potential issues to the plant leadership and provide potential solution Support environmental programs including waste management, emissions, stormwater, and chemical handlin Monitor hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling and storag Assist with environmental inspections and regulatory reportin Safety Training & Culture Deliver safety training including Lockout/Tagou PPE and hazard communicatio Ergonomics and emergency respons Engage employees in safety initiatives, committees, and continuous improvement effort Risk Reduction & Continuous Improvement Partner with operations to identify hazards associated with Plastics processing equipmen Robotics and automatio Compressed air system Material handling and resin Support implementation of engineering and administrative safety control Track safety metrics and support improvement initiative Assist with emergency response planning including Spill respons Medical emergency coordinatio Support drills and emergency response team You will Be a Good Fit If You Have Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fiel d preferre d5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturin Experience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, or industrial manufacturin g is strongly preferre OSHA 30 Certification preferre Certifications (Preferred) CHST, ASP, or other professional safety certificatio First Aid / CPR / AE DKey Skills English, bilingual…the ability to speak Spanish is a plu Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental complianc Experience investigating incidents and performing root cause analysi Ability to influence employees and leadership to drive safe work practice Strong documentation and organizational skill #J-18808-Ljbffr
