Prime Healthcare and Central Maine Medical Center are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a growing cardiovascular program in Lewiston. This opportunity offers the ability to practice within a collaborative, physician-focused environment while serving a broad regional patient population across central Maine.

The incoming physician will join an established cardiology team with access to advanced cardiac services, experienced clinical support staff, and a strong referral network. Candidates with a patient-centered approach and strong interventional skills are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including coronary angiography, PCI, and coronary stenting, providing inpatient consultative services and outpatient cardiovascular care, collaborating with cardiologists, hospitalists, APPs, intensivists, and ancillary staff, participating in shared call coverage schedule, maintaining accurate clinical documentation and compliance with quality standards, and supporting evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include MD or DO from an accredited institution, completion of accredited Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology, eligible for medical licensure in the State of Maine, excellent communication and team collaboration skills, and new graduates and experienced physicians welcome to apply.
