This person would also be responsible for keeping the tire area clean, tidy and organized. As a Heavy Duty Tire Technician, this person would be accountable for property and safely performing the tire and related services needed for all company owned units.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesService Commercial Tires, including dismounting, mounting, and balancing commercial, industrial, and light truck tiresInflating tires to prescribe PSI per load requirementsDetermine repairable tire conditions and make sure repairs as needed on commercial industrial, and light truck tiresClean and maintain service equipment, maintenance on tools, and all other company propertyProperly execute required service tickets to submit to management and all other necessary paperwork as requiredComply with OSHA regulations and safety requirementsWear proper PPE, use tire cages, and follow all other safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsMust have a valid driver's license and ability to be insured by company insurance policyMust have a TWIC card or be able to obtain one upon hireMust be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours or moreMust be able to communicate to supervision in a timely fashion if problems or questions should ariseMust be willing to follow all safety procedures and work safelyMust be able to work in a result-orientated, fast-paced environment as part of a teamEducation High School or GED equivalent
