Production Planning Specialist, Horticulture

Overview Salary: USD28 - USD32 per hour. The Production Planning Specialist will be responsible for planning crop sowing and harvesting schedules. The role requires horticultural knowledge and experience with crop cycles grown in greenhouses, strong analytical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel, and effective communication in Spanish and English. Responsibilities Plan crop sowing and harvesting schedules. Coordinate greenhouse operations and specialty crop operations. Use production planning software to manage schedules. Analyze data to optimize crop production. Communicate effectively with farm and office staff. Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in greenhouse operations, specialty crop operations, or agricultural supply chain/production planning. Horticultural experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Proficiency with production planning software. Fluency in English and Spanish (speak, read, write). Effective communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Working Conditions Production office is a climate-controlled office located on a farm. Travel required to other farm locations within 10 minutes in San Marcos. Paths in production can be muddy or dusty depending on weather.
