Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and formulate individualized therapy strategies designed to help them reach their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily life activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work collaboratively with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide valuable instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques to foster ongoing progress in their home environment
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary to ensure sustained patient progress

Education Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Engagement in continuing education or post-graduate certification is encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Mandatory NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
