Job Responsibilities

• Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and craft tailored therapy strategies to help them reach their functional milestones

• Collaborate Within Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff, to deliver comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance and instruction to patients and their caregivers regarding therapy practices to assist in enhancing progress at home
• Document and Monitor Progress: Keep accurate records of clinical outcomes and adjust treatment processes as necessary to ensure patient success

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continued learning or additional certifications encouraged and supported

Certifications Required

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) is necessary
