Job Description

• Create Personalized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' needs and craft individualized treatment strategies to help them reach their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily life skills.
• Engage with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with a team of OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to provide holistic and comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Share insights with patients and their families on various therapy methods to ensure ongoing progress even outside of clinical settings.
• Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Keep track of treatment outcomes and modify strategies when necessary to keep patients on their path to success.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Encouragement and support for continued education or additional certifications

Certifications

• Current Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is a prerequisite
