As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating patients, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.

• Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders
• Develop and implement individualized care plans following regulatory and clinical practice standards
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and exercises
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Document all required information in the electronic documentation system
• Participate in patient care conferences and required meetings
• Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides
• Adhere to NBCOT and state-required practice acts and ethics

Requirements:

• Active Occupational Therapist license
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Long-term care or rehabilitation experience required
• New graduates considered with Level II experience
