Project Manager (Structural Bridge)

Structural Bridge Project ManagerHorner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Structural Bridge Project Manager located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This position requires 10+ years of experience.Position Responsibilities/Duties:Develop and maintain client relationships in the Salt Lake City, UT areaRecognize and initiate business development opportunities for transportation structure projectsPrepare contract proposals and cost estimates in accordance with company and client standardsPerform and check structural engineering calculations of bridges, retaining walls, and other transportation infrastructure structures using company, client, and industry standardsParticipate in the preparation and checking of structural construction drawings created by teammates to meet firm and client requirementsResponsible for the completion of projects to meet client requirementsMonitor project schedules and budgets; develop strategies to complete projects on schedule and within negotiated design budgetsCoordinate projects with other business units as requiredMentor junior staffPosition Requirements:Licensed Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer in UtahExperience working directly with the Utah Department of TransportationAbility to lead, manage and schedule staff located within other offices to meet project needsAbility to traverse structural sites, including heights and rough terrainStrong written and verbal communication skillsOrganizational skills to manage multiple projects of various complexity simultaneouslyValid driver's licenseMust complete a background checkEducational Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Civil EngineeringMaster of Science in Civil Engineering (preferred)Salary Range:Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $115,000 - $165,000.
