Location: Fishers, IN & Greater Indianapolis Area

Essential Roles And Responsibilities:

• Supports Lead Designer in managing project timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinates communication between design and production teams. BACK of the process
• Assists in project documentation and organization.
• Collaborates with Purchasing Coordinator to ensure timely procurement of materials.
• **Until the point a Purchasing Coordinator is hired the buying out of materials is the responsibility of Design Coordinator**
• Chief Perspectives
• Product Specifications – ongoing training and expertise to ensure that mix of selections are feasible in the overall scope. Example is fireplace and the associated selections 'working' with that product
• Ensure the selection itself will work with the design and other selections.
• Project Packet Preparation & Chief Plan sets & Layout Documents (not just printing – responsible for the Actual plans; Back End Chief aspects)
• a. Walk-through Documentation
• b. Estimate Hand Off Documentation
• c. Pre-Construction Documentation
• d. Construction Documentation
• Plotter Printing
• Assist Lead Designer in procuring job specific samples
• Ample knowledge of cabinetry design/layout and which lines will work best
• Upload Selections to Buildertrend
• Working with Operations Coordinator on possible returns of purchased materials through the project
• Supports Lead Designer in verifying all material selections have been made.
• a. Responsible for documentation of selections and quoting/pricing.
• b. Design Coordinator does all the uploading and handles bids – Purchasing/Project Coordinator handles actual buying out of all selections and writing/releasing Purchase Orders.
